Dedication

Mroz-Baier Clinic is dedicated to the memory of Julie Antoinette Bourgeois Baier (1943–1990), a remarkable wife, mother, teacher and friend. Before losing her fight with breast cancer, she had spent her life helping others. Her letters to Ann Landers and additional national publications helped start an awareness about breast disease and its proper care. She also pointed out that the breast is the only square inch of the body without a specialty.

Mroz-Baier Clinic honors her wish that a center of excellence be established to provide patients with the treatment they need, expect and deserve.  The clinic combines state of the art technology with state of the heart emotional support for patients with breast cancer.
